2019 SEM Haven Olympics
SEM Haven hosted its Annual Sr. Olympics on September 30th, October 1st & 2nd. We had a great time! The opening ceremonies were led by torchbearer Esther Montag, our oldest Olympian at age 99 and God Bless America was sung by Joanna Woodard. The Milford Community Fire Department ran all of the games and presented individual awards on all 3 days. They also presided over the closing ceremonies, presenting the team awards. They even helped with clean-up and taking residents to their rooms. They have gotten to know our residents and staff over the years and there was a lot of fun camaraderie.
